Structures Engineer on the Starship program, I designed the Booster 4 Pad Mate Fitting

I fully owned the design and analysis of the pad-mate fitting, its a piece that interfaces with the ground support arms to keep the booster in place while it sits on the launch pad. There are two on either side each experiencing 10-20kN of force in every direction. The ground support arms are also used to position the booster on the pad while its being craned in, and lock into the pocket (the pad-mate fitting) I designed in the picture.
